About Us

Little Pressroom is a digital print shop and promotional products distributor located in Middlebury, Vermont.

We provide a variety of services to our local community including custom printing, graphic design and image editing, website setup, and sourcing and designing promotional merchandise.

Our clients range from individual community members to large institutions and companies. We have been in operation for over 37 years, and we are proud to always offer quality products and services to every customer.

Ted Shambo

Owner & Chief Instigator

Ted was born a poor farmer's son in Tupelo, Mississippi.

His family moved to Memphis, Tennessee when he was a young boy. The magic began when he was given a guitar for his 10th birthday. He grew to love and play many types of music which lead him to launching a nearly 30 year entertainment career. Long Live the King!

 

Most recently he spent 7+ years with the chamber of commerce and currently has owned and operated the Little Pressroom for the past 10 years.

Betsy McAshley

Chief Visionary Officer

Betsy joined the crew in January of 2013. She holds a degree in Graphic Design from Plymouth State University and handles the design aspects of the shop, such as creating a new logo to represent your company, laying out a new business card, or editing photographs. In addition to the creative visuals, Betsy also prepares documents for production and prints them, all the while acting as Ted's operating system and main memory.

Hannah Williams

Communications Specialist

Hannah is a semi-recent graduate from Castleton University. While there she earned a media and communications degree, and a graphic design minor. When she isn't making everyone in the shop laugh, she enjoys long walks, paddle boarding and planning her next Disney vacation. She loves her job at LPR almost as much as she loves her cat, Humphrey.

Michelle Shambo

Chief Morale Officer

Michelle enjoys working at LPR part-time so she can utilize her creative side. She assists with all aspects of the print shop, from marketing, bookkeeping, to scoring of note cards. With her sharp attention to detail and organizational skills, she continues to implement new ideas as well as manage the staff’s logistics and morale.

Claudia Fagan

Mixologist

Claudia grew up in Vergennes, graduating from VUHS, and then Champlain College, 1000 years ago. Some of her favorite things are back roads, tools, being outdoors, music. Oh, and maybe dogs. Claudia spends her time puttering in the yard or working on her never-ending home improvement projects. Being at LPR is like I've gone to heaven!

Erin Daigle

Artist-in-Residence

Erin is a self-described recovering social worker. After a decade in the human services field she is pursuing her love of making art. Primarily an oil painter, Erin found The Little Pressroom for her printing needs and the rest happened naturally. She shares Ted and Betsy's affinity for punny humor and their optimism that anything's possible. Her main role at LPR is collaborating on the development of Sappy Bucket®, a LPR original notecard series featuring "sweet and sappy sentiments for all occasions." Meet Sappy Bucket® here!
