About Us - Meet the Team
Ted Shambo -- Chief Instigator
Ted was born a poor farmer's son in Tupelo, Mississippi. His family moved to Memphis, Tennessee when he was a young boy. The magic began when he was given a guitar for his 10th birthday. He grew to love and play many types of music which lead him to launching a nearly 30 year entertainment career. Long Live the King!
Most recently he spent 7+ years with the chamber of commerce and currently has owned and operated the Little Pressroom for the past 10 years.
Michelle Shambo -- Chief Morale Officer
Michelle enjoys working at LPR part-time so she can utilize her creative side. She assists with all aspects of the print shop, from marketing, bookkeeping, to scoring of note cards. With her sharp attention to detail and organizational skills, she continues to implement new ideas as well as manage the staff’s logistics and morale.
Betsy McAshley -- Chief Visionary Officer
Graphic Design and Print Production
Betsy joined the crew in January of 2013. She holds a degree in Graphic Design from Plymouth State University and handles the design aspects of the shop, such as creating a new logo to represent your company, laying out a new business card, or editing photographs. In addition to the creative visuals, Betsy also prepares documents for production and prints them, all the while acting as Ted's operating system and main memory.
Erin Daigle -- Artist in Residence
Erin is a self-described recovering social worker. After a decade in the human services field she is pursuing her love of making art. Primarily an oil painter, Erin found The Little Pressroom for her printing needs and the rest happened naturally. She shares Ted and Betsy's affinity for punny humor and their optimism that anything's possible. Her main role at LPR is collaborating on the development of Sappy Bucket, our sweet and sentimental guy whom you can meet here. We can't wait to see what's on tap for Sappy's future!
Eric Shambo -- "The Kid"
Secondary and Web Design
Eric "The Kid" Shambo, much like his father, started his career in the music industry. Though, not as successful as The King, Eric does hope to one day be a famous producer and artist. Currently he can sing you a beautiful tune, or can do any of the following; Score your cards, Stuff Seal Stamp your mailings, or even give a pamphlet a nice mean fold. He is also able to assist with any website creation or editing, while also keeping the print shop clean and organized.
